News/Update Call for Voice Actors

I am currently in the midst of a new work produced for and with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts and the CRES Media Arts Council, Artist In Residency program at CFRO Co-Op Radio here in Vancouver. The work largely consists of a number of reorganizations of the text forming The City Of Vancouver By-Law 6555, nominally referred to as the Noise Control By-Law, and spoken performances of these reorganizations of the the text. The complete project proposal as well as some additional notes will be posted in the coming days, along with the final drafts of the reorganized text.

I am now seeking voice actors interested in participating with the recording of the performance of the works.

Good diction, a high degree of proficiency with and command of spoken English language is essential. Experience with technical or legal reading an asset, but not necessary.

Interested parties should forward a CV or overview of relevant experience, contact information and availability to Josh Rose jtc(dot)rose(at)gmail(dot)com. Auditions/recording tests will be scheduled for the first week in December 2011.

Professionals, semi-Professionals, amateurs, and students are welcome.
Payment to be negotiated.

The entire site was updated about 3 weeks ago to include some new recorded material recently posted to the JTCR soundcloud page in addition to various minor corrections and additions. More work will be posted soon.
